All art sizes are quoted including frames, except where indicated as unframed. The glass will be removed from artwork to enable safer shipping. One out of four pieces I post with glass break and can damage the art and mount boards. Postage is R85 without glass. If you want to take a chance, I will insert the glass, but you accept the risk in writing with an e-mail confirming that if the glass breaks, you will not hold me responsible for the damage and then the postage is R120 within South Africa.
If you collect, I will insert the glass for you.
The art is located in Scottburgh, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. If you buy internationally then we need to e-mail each other regarding the shipping costs and handling fee.
SHIPPING AND OTHER CHARGES
I use the General Post Office, South Africa.
The way I pack is to cover your painting with bubble wrap and then close up with brown paper. If the painting is unframed and can be rolled up and placed in a tube to be posted this will be done as an alternative to the above.
If you require better packaging then please contact me for a quote on building a box for you. Allow 10 working days for postage in South Africa after payment is confirmed. A discount on postage is available on multiple items ordered based on the postage incurred, which will be passed on to the buyer. The cost includes postage, packaging, labour, insurance and other costs.
I will pay the insurance fees for items up to the value of R400 for each parcel. When you combine items, the Post office only allows you to insure up to a maximum risk of R400 if the parcel goes missing. Therefore you will only receive R400, unless you insure the parcel yourself through your own insurance company. I will also send you the tracking number and you can enquire at www.sapo.co.za to track your parcel. You can also phone a toll free line within South Africa 086 011 1502 to track your parcel.
I allow collection from my premises in Scottburgh in person or with a courier company on condition that the item has been paid for in advance. If you send your own courier company, there is a packaging cost of R50 in addition to the cost of the painting involved, where I need to parcel and pack the article for your courier company.
I do not allow payment when you collect the item. If you deposit cash, then please add R16.50 to cover banking charges. International customers need to communicate via e-mail for a formal shipping quote.

ORDERING WORKS OF ART
To avoid any misunderstanding as to which art work is odered, all orders MUST have both the reference number AND the title of the painting.
I will not be responsible for incorrect orders placed.
